Didier Robcis grew up to Fayence in the South East of France (Var).
He was sixteen years old when the local correspondent of the regional daily newspaper of his village (Var matin) fascinated by the art of photography introduced him to the photography. Didier Robcis decided then to make his job.
After the high school, he studied at ETPA, a photography institute in Toulouse, primarily with Gabriel Bauret (a famous french curator) and also he studied for shorter stints with Peter Knap, Jean François Bauret, Jean Dieuzaide, Guy Le Guerrec …
In 1987 he moved to Paris and began working as an assistant with various photographers and studios.
1990 - Presently he realize numerous advertising photographs (Canal Plus, Orange, Decathlon, Air France, Peugeot, LG, BNP, Nike, GDF, The Post office, RATP(Paris public transport system), Holywood, Levi's, Leclerc, RTL9.) as well as corporate reports for  famous companies (Sanofi-Aventis, EDF, Microsoft, La MACIF, TPS, Bel, GDF Suez, etc.…).
He works with diverse magazines (Citizen K, Track, Chromozom, Elle Japon, Inrockuptibles, Own, Vogue, Modzik, Air le Mag…) and also fashion désigners (Issey Miyake, Cabane de Zucca, Barbara Bui...)
Passionate about music he creates numerous Album/CD covers, posters and éditorial photos for a lot of artists (Noir- Désir, Ismaël LO, Richard Bohringer, Coco Suma, Jamie Lidell, The Do, Metronomy, Nneka, Mathieu Boggaert, Damien Saez, Christophe Maé …) and séveral vidéoclips ( film super 16mm or vidéo HD for Busline, Marie Payen...
His personal work is based around principal themes but principally the influence of time. Finally its photographs have appeared in several exhibitions.
